THE LAST DAYS REMNANT CHURCH

“And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” Revelation 12:17

John tells us here that the church remnant in the “last days” will keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ and he repeats it just two chapters on with a reminder of the deadly tribulation facing Christians in the last seven years before Jesus return.

Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’ ”
“Yes,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labours, and their works follow them.” Revelation 14:12-13

The good news is that Jesus reveals in Matthew 24:14 that the remnant (keeping His commandments, walking in holiness) will be active and achieving great things for Him,And this gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in ALL the world as a witness to ALL nations, and then the end will come.” NOTE BOTH ALL’S

God is in the process of restoring all things, and we are going to be the generation that finally gets things right.  The greatest move of God of all time is going to happen right before the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and we are going to become the kind of bride that He deserves.  On our own, this is impossible, but with Him all things are possible.

PROPHESIED GREAT FALLING AWAY IN CHURCHES

Barna Church Survey:

In a 2014 survey of all Christian and non-Christian clergy, over half of Protestant pastors (55%) admitted they were very concerned that religious freedom will become more restricted in the next five years; this percentage fell to below half (49% in the 2015/2016) and to one-third (34%) in 2017).”

At a time when religious liberties are under attack from every corner—from our children’s schools to our places of business and from the internet to the courts—how can it be that many Protestant pastors are less concerned now than before?

Sadly, much of it comes from Bible Colleges that no longer teach the inerrancy of God’s Word.

The teaching of evolution in schools and universities as fact has totally undermined the Genesis account of origins and the Biblical age of the earth, just 6000 plus years (www.creation.com).

The foundations for earths history are established in the Book of Genesis: Creation, Marriage, Family, The Fall, Judgement with Noah’s Catastrophic Worldwide Flood, Tower of Babel – new languages that established tribes and nations. God then establishes His nation, Israel, on a promise to one man, Abraham, all leading up to God’s Redemptive Plan, His Son, Jesus, entering earth’s history to provide a way for man to be born again into God’s Kingdom, for us to be reunited with our Heavenly Father in whom’s image we are made.

The World rejects God’s laws:

Gay marriage is law now in most Western nations and many of the large denominational churches have gay pastors and conduct gay marriages. Many pastors have compromised with the world’s values so why would they be concerned about the loss of religious freedom.

A significant portion of Scripture is “end times prophecy” so the good news for Christians is we know that in  the “last days” before Jesus return, there is a great falling away in the church, lawlessness increases and sin abounds, exactly what we see unfolding in our time.

We need to keep our focus on our role: “And this Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all nations, and then the end will come.Matthew 24:14

THE IMPACT ONE GODLY FAMILY CAN HAVE FOR JESUS CHRIST

Will Graham preached this year in Manila, Philippines—following in the footsteps of his grandfather Billy and father Franklin—to record crowds. The historic gathering is “the first time that all three generations not only preached in the same city, the same country but actually the same venue.

The Greater Pangasinan-Metro Manila Celebration was originally intended to be a three-day campaign, says resident Celebration director Jeffrey Ferris, but sprawled into an eight-day campaign. According to a video released by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, 149,656 attended the Celebration gatherings where Graham preached, and more than 19,400 accepted salvation in Jesus Christ as a result. This is part of the last days harvest we see sweeping the under developed nations in Asia, Africa, South America.
