What is the most important thing we can do to destroy the works of the enemy? In this live stream, Pastor Alan DiDio of Encounter Today interviews Mario Murillo about these exact questions and more! A new generation is arising who have been baptised in fire, who are prepared to lay down their lives for Biblical truth who prophecy truth regardless of the consequences.
You need to watch this video probably more than once. It is one hour long but you can do it in 20 or 30 minute segments.
Often we do not see the real Jesus because we’re too busy looking at ourselves—it’s easy for our own flesh to get in the way. Repent daily, asking the Holy Spirit for His help and His mercy to see Christ as He truly is. We need God’s mercy and grace everyday.
Reflect on the names of the Lord. What awe, reverence and worship they should evoke in the spirit of every true believer:
“And thou shalt call His name JESUS” (Matthew 1:21, kjv). He is the Prince of Peace, Mighty God, Wonderful Counsellor, Holy One, Lamb of God, Prince of Life, Lord God Almighty, Lion of the Tribe of Judah, Root of David, Word of Life, Author and Finisher of Our Faith, Advocate, The Way, Dayspring, Lord of All, I Am, Son of God, Shepherd and Bishop of Souls, Messiah, The Truth, Savior, Chief Cornerstone, King of Kings, Righteous Judge, Light of the World, Head of the Church, Morning Star, Sun of Righteousness, Lord Jesus Christ, Chief Shepherd, Resurrection and Life, Horn of Salvation, Governor, The Alpha and Omega.
Jesus: The Lord of All Things
The secret of theabundant life, is Christ and Christ alone. We must see the real Jesus. We must have a correct vision of who He is and, therefore, who we are representing and serving during our time on earth. Only then will we begin to rediscover the authority, glory and power of His majesty.
One of the most revealing images of the real Jesus is found in Colossians 1:13–20. Here we find Him to be “the image of the invisible God . . . .
“For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell.”
What a mighty God we serve! The whole universe, everything that we can see and cannot see, was created for Him. He is head of the Church and our Lord. We were made for Him and His pleasure.
Thus says the LORD: ‘Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom,Let not the mighty man glory in his might, nor let the rich man glory in his riches; but let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD, exercising loving kindness, judgement, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,’ says the LORD. Jeremiah 9: 23-24
God is always at work with believers and unbelievers, on this earth, in His Cosmos, and there is no doubt He uses catastrophes for His purposes both to refine His people and to awaken souls to their need of Him, their Creator.
Looking at the Corona Virus in this light, hopefully. one can see what God is doing and how we can get in step with Him in our prayers and action.
Sadly, in most church circles we are hearing prayers asking God to “come against” the virus. Yes…may God’s Mercy prevail, but it’s time to see this virus as God’s WAKE UP call. Jesus told us that in the “last days” God would use pestilences, famines, earthquakes as wake up calls to humanity before He pours out his wrath upon the earth prior to Jesus return.
Jeff Daly of http://www.repentday.org presents an insightful view of what God is achieving with the corona virus in the USA. “Allow me to present a totally opposite (but more spiritually accurate) understanding of what is REALLY going on in the unseen world. In just a few short weeks: #1) Public schools and colleges (which are mostly secular and Marxist in nature) are being shut down en masse as students are now being “home schooled” in droves. #2) Governors are calling on all “elective procedures” to be cancelled and/or postponed. It is not too difficult to see abortion death camps being shut down as all medical professionals are engaged in battling the Coronavirus to save lives instead of causing more death. #3) Sexual perversions involving unclean practices (particularly anal sex) are being looked at again in revulsion and questioned in terms of how they add to pandemic diseases. People are being cautioned against any behaviour that opens them up to diseases.
One can’t help but compare the current plague of pandemic virus to the Exodus story in scripture and the plagues God used there against Egypt. Egypt represents all sinful societies; really every nation on the planet today. Today, God’s people find themselves in bondage labouring inside sinful cultures. At all times, the Living God protected the Israelites against the many plagues He sent to let His people go, covering them by the blood of the lamb to exit Egypt. Now we have the Blood of the Ultimate Lamb without spot, Jesus the Messiah, covering us who have repented from the world, died to our own old thinking and now believe in following His Way. He is allowing this plague to awaken souls for their need for Him. You and I are to be His salt and light with out neighbours and in the workplace, bringing them into the Kingdom at this hour of His timing.
A great Christian book from the Foreign Correspondent of The Australian Newspaper, Greg Sheridan. Reaction to the book is surprising. Overall it has been good. Atheists response predictable – How dare you promote Christianity.
The fact western civilisation was shaped by Christianity has been wiped from our consciousness in universities and schools. Cultural crisis is rampant. culture is fluid, it rejects a grand narrative. a coherent narrative and rejects truth, your truth is not my truth.
The only cause for hope is God exists, He loves us and He is in control. Moreover, He has provided us with an account of true history from the beginning to the end, in His Word.
Listen to a great interview: John Anderson, Former Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party of Australia interviewing Greg.
“You are going to see the Man of war that I am, for I have not come to bring peace, but to bring the sword with which to rightly divide the sheep from the goats, the true from the counterfeit and the religious from the pure in heart.
Those who only see Jesus as the gentle Lamb of God forget that He is also the fierce Lion of Judah. When Jesus said, “I am meek and lowly” (Matt. 11:29), He did not mean that He is soft, timid or weak. Rather, He is power under control.
In Revelation 1:12-18, we read that the glorified Christ has eyes of blazing fire, feet of bronze, a voice like rushing waters, a face like the sun and a sword coming out of His mouth. This image made the apostle John fall at his feet as though dead—and it should fill us with awe and wonder that such a great and holy God would give His life for us.
Do not question the Potter as to the clay He chooses to mould and shape. Many question God’s choice of Donald Trump for President of the USA and yet he has supported Christian values with the appointment of conservative Supreme Court judges, he is pro Israel, recognising Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, he is pro life and pro traditional family. He delights in having Christians pray for him even in public. He is God’s wrecking ball, a man who is not afraid to war against those who oppose God in the high places of darkness and deception.
Recently, we have seen God appoint Christian leaders in Australia, Brazil, Guatemala and all were most unlikely candidates. Collective fasting and prayer can cause God to step in and change circumstances and I am sure this was the case in all three of these nations. God is always on the move. The question is are we in step with Him?
Are you in a church that believes and preaches the inerrant word of God, that understands we are in the “last days,” and is raising up disciples to reach out to the lost? Do we know God’s call on our life and are we pursuing it, totally, trusting in Him for guidance and provision? Are we prepared for the coming tribulation even great tribulation?
Victory of Brazil right-winger Jair Bolsonaro latest shock in global politics
The Wall St Journal: The rise of the right-wing firebrand is the latest shock in global politics as voters turn against the status quo, starting in 2016 with the Brexit vote in the UK and Donald Trump’s election in the US It also likely shifts politics in the world’s fourth largest democracy sharply to the right.
Mr Bolsonaro’s victory was the culmination of deep shifts in Brazilian society over recent decades, including the rise of evangelical Christianity. Mr Bolsonaro himself is a devout Christian baptised in the Jordan River. His middle name in Portuguese is “Messiah.”
Now comprising a third of Brazilians, evangelicals are on track to outnumber Catholics by 2035, according to pollster Datafolha. Bishop Edir Macedo, the billionaire founder of one of Brazil’s biggest evangelical churches who also owns the powerful TV Record network, endorsed Mr Bolsonaro shortly before the vote.
Before the results were known, but with much of the country now behind him, Mr. Bolsonaro said in a radio interview recently that he saw no reason to change or moderate his message. “I’m not going to become the little ‘peace and love’ Jair.” His name Jair means “He enlightens or one giving light”
Trump is right, his appointment of Brett Kavanaugh as a Supreme Court judge demonstrates he is doing exactly what God intended he should do, when God allowed him to become President of the U.S.A.
Trump declared it an “historic night,” not long after signing the paperwork to make Kavanaugh’s status official.
“I stand before you today on the heels of a tremendous victory for our nation,” he said to roars of supporters at the Kansas Expo-centre in Topeka.
Trump invited reporters travelling with him to Kansas, to watch the final vote in his private office aboard Air Force One, then delivered a thumbs up from his desk as the confirmation was made official.
“Very, very good,” Trump said. “Very happy about it. Great decision. I very much appreciate those 50 great votes and I think he’s going to go down as a totally brilliant Supreme Court Justice for many years.” Trump, throughout the day, insisted Kavanagh would not be tainted by the sexual assault allegations from Christine Blasey Ford and others that nearly tanked his nomination, declaring he was “100 per cent” certain his nominee was innocent. “I have no doubt,” Trump said, telling reporters that he had chosen Kavanaugh, in part, because “there’s nobody with a squeaky-clean past like Brett Kavanaugh because he is an outstanding person and I’m very honoured to have chosen him.” He said Kavanaugh had withstood a “horrible, horrible attack” that “nobody should have to go through.” Trump continued lashing out at Democrats when he rallied supporters in Topeka, telling them the opposition party conducted a “shameless campaign of political and personal destruction” against Kavanaugh.
It is evident that one of God’s primary purposes for Trump being in office is to fill empty Supreme Court judgeship’s.
These verses from Isaiah though aimed at Israel are prophetic for the U.S.A
” Therefore the Lord says, the Lord of hosts, the Mighty One of Israel, “Ah, I will rid Myself of My adversaries, and take vengeance on My enemies. I will turn My hand against you, and thoroughly purge away your dross, and take away all your alloy. I will restore your judges as at the first, And your counsellors as at the beginning. Afterwards, you shall be called the city of righteousness, the faithful city.” Isaiah 1:24-26
The Supreme Court judges are the key and affect the nation even more than the president and Congress do. If Trump can fill empty judge seats with conservative voices, a biblical turnaround in the nation is possible.
The following story is in Steven Strang’s book: God and Donald Trump.
In 2011, Trump called Pastor Paula White-Caine and, after asking her some questions about God, asked her to gather several preachers to pray about whether he should run for president or not.
Kenneth Copeland, reporting on that prayer gathering said. ” they prayed for over six hours—just stayed on their knees and stayed before God for six hours. At the end of the prayer session, Trump asked White-Caine what she thought. She replied that she and the pastors praying with her didn’t believe it was the right time for him to run for president.” As a result of that prayer gathering Trump waited until the next election to run, and we all know the result. “This is the Donald Trump people don’t know anything about,” Copeland said.
In his book, God and Donald Trump, Steven Strang doesn’t sugarcoat the truth about Trump’s past—and present—flaws and mistakes, but he doesn’t ignore how God has used him throughout his presidency. Steve also shares how God gave several charismatic leaders prophetic words about Trump becoming president.
Steve’s stated goal in this book is to present the story of Trump’s presidency from a Christian, journalistic perspective—a perspective he believes the leftist media largely overlook.
Its sequel, Trump Aftershock will be out in November. In Trump Aftershock, Steve shows how much Trump has accomplished for Judeo-Christian values since he was elected.

The Jubilee Year, which started on the Day of Atonement in 2017, is as relevant today as it was when God had Moses introduce it to His people (Leviticus) two thousand years ago. When the trumpet sounded, the land must be returned to its original owners. It was a time of restoration.
In 1917, the land was given back to the Jewish people on a Jubilee year by the British with the Balfour declaration. In 1948, Israel was re-established as a nation by the UN but Jordan is given control over Jerusalem. The next Jubilee in 1967, Israel gets back its capital Jerusalem. This is exactly what is prophesied in God’s Word and therefore proof positive it was God’s plan, it came to pass. What about Jubilee 2017? This is the year that the leader of the most powerful nation, on earth, President Trump, recognises Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and moved its Embassy there.
The Jubilee is relevant for all nations as shown by Jonathan Cahn on his trip to Cuba. You must hear his story of what transpired in Cuba. It truly is amazing, I have never heard anything like it before, God was in it, miracle after miracle. Proof of God’s sovereignty, His total control over His universe.
Jonathan believes that in this Jubilee, God is releasing His power to live as the church did in the Book of Acts.
“Arise, shine, for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over, and His glory will be seen upon you.” Isaiah 60:1. It is time for all believers to take up our inheritance. The Holy Spirit’s power will be released, as it was in the early church, for us to accomplish all that He has prescribed for each one of us in these last days.
God hasn’t quit speaking; He is opening our hearts and minds to hear His voice in new ways. He does this so that we will continue to grow progressively in our relationship with Him. He doesn’t want us to become locked in to the same patterns of hearing Him. God’s goal is a real, live relationship with us.
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” John 10:27
Here are a few scriptural examples, which portray the multitude of ways the Spirit has used to speak to people:
A dream or vision (see Job 33:14-18)
A voice in a trance (see Acts 10:9-16)
The voice of many angels (see Rev. 5:11)
The voice of the archangel (see 1 Thess. 4:16)
The “sound of many waters” (Rev. 1:15)
The sound of the Lord walking in the garden (see Gen. 3:8)
The sound of the army of God marching in the tops of the trees (see 2 Sam. 5:23-25)
The audible voice of God (see Ex. 3:4)
God “speaking peace” to His people (Ps. 85:8)
God’s written Word (our primary source of His voice and our chief reference point) (see Ps.119:105)
Wonders in the sky and on Earth (see Joel 2:30-31)
Visions and parables to the prophets (see Hos. 12:10)
Words and physical metaphors to the prophets (see Jer. 18:1-6)
The Holy Spirit speaking to a group (see Acts 13:2)
Men, moved by the Holy Spirit, declaring God’s voice (see 2 Pet. 1:21)
Heavenly experiences in which one is brought up before the Lord (see 2 Cor. 12:1-4)
The Holy Spirit bearing witness to our spirit (see Rom. 8:16)
A dumb donkey speaking with the voice of a man (see 2 Pet. 2:16)
One person speaking the revelatory counsel of the Lord to another (see James 5:19-20)
God’s own Son (see Heb. 1:2)
This list is not exhaustive, but it gives a bird’s-eye view of some of the ways God has chosen to speak to (and through) His people. I have been surprised over the years at both how God speaks and what or whom He chooses to use, invariably the most unlikely person.
God is not limited in His attention-getting techniques. He wants to be heard, and He has plenty of approaches He can utilise.
Sadly for me, one of the ways God gets my attention is with an earache in my right ear. To me, it’s like Paul’s “thorn in the flesh”. I invariably have taken myself away from God’s best for me, doing my own thing, and I know it. As soon as I get back on track, and step out to do what God has for me to do that day, the earache is gone. I have to step out, expecting God to turn up and equip me for the task. On several occasions, the earache has gone before I reach the set of lights about 500 metres/yards from my home.
God wants us to hear His voice in all of its manifestations so that we can bear much fruit—fruit that will remain.
We must not forget that ultimately this is not about us. It is about our being transformed into the image of His glorious Son, Jesus. By the power of the Holy Spirit at work in us, you and I will be changed into the image of God’s Son. According to Psalm 29, we will shout praises together as we are changed from glory to glory: “Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.”Psalm 29:2
