WHY THIS WEBSITE IS CALLED LIVING ETERNAL NOW

This website is called Living Eternal Now for a reason. Eternity on a new earth needs to be your focus. Look at these Scriptures which are written for Christians. They clearly show Christians will appear before the judgement seat of Christ. “If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved”

Are you living for heavenly reward?

“So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him. For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.” 2 Corinthian 5:9-10

“According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a foundation, and someone else is building upon it. Let each one take care how he builds upon it. For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw— each one’s work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.” 1 Corinthians 3:10

“Watch yourselves, so that you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win a full reward2 John 1:8

END TIMES SIGN – ECONOMIC COLLAPSE

A “LAST DAYS” PROPHETIC EVENT IS UPON US AS ECONOMISTS REALISE THE WORLD’S DEBT IS BEYOND RECOVERY. THE WORLD HAS NEVER BEEN AS INDEBTED AS IT IS RIGHT NOW.

In the month of October, 2017 alone, the US national debt has soared by nearly a quarter of a trillion dollars.

The government of the largest, most important economy in the world is completely, woefully bankrupt. And its rate of decline is accelerating.

You’d think this would be on the front page of every major newspaper in the world. But it’s not. It’s shrugged off as par for the course, as if accumulating historic levels of debt is somehow consequence-free. And this complacency is what I find the MOST bizarre. Consider the following: the US government spends nearly the ENTIRETY of its tax revenue on Social Security, Medicare, and Interest on the Debt. Throw in national defence spending and the budget deficit is already hundreds of billions of dollars.

The only realistic way out is for the US government to eventually capitulate… and default.

This could mean selectively defaulting on holders of US debt (for example– the Chinese, Japanese, Federal Reserve, Social Security Trust Fund, etc.);  one day Uncle Sam simply stops paying.

Or it could mean defaulting on promises made to citizens, like providing a strong national defense, maintaining a stable currency, or paying out Social Security benefits as advertised.

Each of these scenarios has its own particular consequences, ranging from steep inflation to a full-blown global financial crisis.

Bottom line, there is no possible rosy scenario here for the USA and Europe is in a worse debt crisis.  As the global economy is interrelated, if major trading blocks like the Eurozone or countries like the US or China go into recession, it’s likely to affect economic growth around the world.

Sadly, as Jesus prophesied  in the last days there would be a great falling away in the church, even the elect being deceived. This is most evident in the denominational church which is compromising with the world on issues such as gay marriage, homosexual leaders in the church, evolution and billions of years.

Make sure you are in a Bible believing church that understands we are in the “last days” and is equipping the Saints to bring in the harvest. As the world gets darker our light will shine brighter. Our joy and hope in the Lord will be evident and the power of God on display with healing and miracles following. Live eternal NOW.

CHALLENGE TO THE CHURCH

Francis Chan challenges the traditional church. Is it working? Of course, we know it is not.

You need to watch this video, and then ask yourself, am I in a church that is impacting my community?

If you don’t think we are living in the “last days” you must be on a different planet to the one I am on. In my recent post, END TIMES SIGNIFICANCE OF THE HANUKKAH, Jonathan Cahn reveals what we can learn from the Hanukkah, on how to face the Antichrist in our day. What did the Maccabees do to overcome the impossible odds in their day?

  1. Decided there could be no compromise with the world regardless of the impossible odds against them. Must trust God.
  2. Must obey His Word and stand on His Word. Even fight with the Word of God.
  3. Separate from the world, don’t try and fit in and bend the Word of God. Become radical and be the salt and light.
  4. Learn how to be warriors, putting on the full armour daily – Belt of TRUTH first, breastplate of RIGHTEOUSNESS, GOSPEL OF PEACE on our feet, take up the shield of FAITH, helmet of SALVATION to shield our mind and the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT which is the Word of God. The Maccabees were called the “hammers of God’
  5. The Maccabees carried on the war joyfully knowing God was with them giving them victory over impossible odds.

THE END-TIMES SIGNS CONTINUE

America is still reeling from a series of major disasters in recent weeks, and now another one has hit.

Smoke and flame rise from the Hilton Sonoma Wine Country during the Tubbs Fire in Santa Rosa, California.

At this moment, an enormous firestorm is consuming tens of thousands of acres in eight counties in northern California. Wind gusts of up to 50 mph are rapidly driving 15 large wildfires across Napa, Sonoma, Lake, Mendocino, Yuba, Nevada, Calaveras and Butte counties, and the devastation taking place is being described as “like Armageddon”.

More than a dozen wildfires whipped by powerful winds swept through California wine country Monday, destroying at least 1,500 homes and businesses and sending thousands fleeing as flames raged unchecked through high-end resorts, grocery stores and tree-lined neighbourhoods.

Ultimately, it looks like this is going to be one of the worst months for wildfires in the history of the state, and all of this comes on the heels of Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Irma and the Las Vegas shooting. Ever since late August, it seems like all hell has broken loose in America.

Violence is on the rise. The tensions of inter-racial relationships seem to be increasing rather than growing better. Political differences divide America like never before in its history. Internationally, wars and the rumour of wars abound. Natural catastrophes are occurring on a record-breaking scale.

Jesus said lawlessness would abound in the last days, and we see it on every hand. Many, even in the church, want to cast off anything that brings restraint to their lifestyle choices. Under the guise of being free, they mistakenly act as if freedom equals a life without boundaries. But real freedom isn’t the right to do our own thing, but the enabling of grace to do the God-thing! Jesus also predicted that with a lawless attitude, true love would grow cold. When people live as their own standard, they inevitably chill in their love toward others.

Deception is on the rise even within the ranks of the church. Many seem determined to follow after signs blindly even if the source appears questionable. While signs and wonders are still valid for today, Jesus gives us a strong warning about false prophets who would come with great signs and wonders (Matt. 24:24). We dare not qualify something as being of the Lord just because it appears to be supernatural. Jesus instructed us to, “Take heed that no one deceives you” (Matt. 24:4b). The followers of Jesus must be discerning so that no one causes us to wander from the path of truth. The church must avoid both sensationalism and scepticism; living open to the miraculous working of the Holy Spirit but not ignoring affirmations, attitudes and actions that are contrary to the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Deception is not just something we guard against from false prophets. We must guard our hearts against self-deception. James says that we can hear the word, even get excited about it and “Amen” it, but if we don’t put it into practice in our personal lives—we deceive ourselves (see James 1:22).

Our challenge is to learn how to be awake and stay awake to the things of eternity while living here and now.

IS GOD IN CONTROL OF HISTORY?

Jonathan Cahn shows how the Bible reveals events that have taken place in the recent past and how it reveals what is to take place in the near future. Ii is all in his new book the The Paradigm – The Ancient Blueprint That Holds the Mystery of Our Times.

Listen to Jonathan being interviewed on Sky Watch TV. It will change your view on the greatest book of all time, The Bible. God is the master weaver of all events that play out in history. The rise and fall of leaders down to the timing of these events. Apostasy will accelerate, as we are seeing it today. Start living eternal now, knowing Jesus Second Coming will happen exactly as prophesied in the Bible. Are we doing exactly what God has called us to do in these last days?

BIBLE BASED SYNOPSIS OF END TIMES

ARE WE BLOCKING THE FLOW OF THE HOLY SPIRIT?

“Do not quench the Spirit.” 1 Thess. 5:19  “And do not grieve the Holy Spirit..” Ephes. 4:30

This testimony by J Lee Grady will challenge you. He was editor of Charisma Magazine for 11 years before he launched into full time Holy Spirit led ministry.

flow-of-holy-spirit

A few years ago the Lord challenged me about my level of spiritual hunger. He showed me that even though I had stood in many prayer lines and repeatedly sung the words, “Lord, I want more of You,” I wasn’t as passionate for Him as I thought I was.

My church sponsored a conference on the Holy Spirit. At the close of one service, I was lying on the floor near the altar, asking God for another touch of His power. Several other people were kneeling at the communion rail and praying quietly for each other.

Suddenly I began to have a vision. In my mind I could see a large pipeline, at least eight feet in diameter. I was looking at it from the inside, and I could see a shallow stream of golden liquid flowing at the bottom. The oil in the giant pipe was only a few inches deep.

I began a conversation with the Lord.

“What are You showing me?” I asked.

“This is the flow of the Holy Spirit in your life,” He answered.

It was not an encouraging picture; it was pitiful! The capacity of the pipeline was huge—enough to convey tons of oil. Yet only a trickle was evident.

Then I noticed something else: Several large valves were lined up along the sides of the pipeline, and each of them was shut.

I wanted to ask the Lord why there was so little oil in my life. Instead I asked: “What are those valves, and why are they closed?”

His answer stunned me. “Those represent the times when you said no. Why should I increase the level of anointing if you aren’t available to use it?”

The words stung. When had I said no to God? I was overcome with emotion and began to repent. I recalled different excuses I had made and limitations I had placed on how He could use me.

I had told Him that I didn’t want to be in front of crowds because I wasn’t a good speaker. I had told Him that if I couldn’t preach like T.D. Jakes does, then I didn’t want to speak at all. I had told Him that I didn’t want to address certain issues or go certain places. I had placed so many cumbersome conditions on my obedience.

After a while I began to see something else in my spirit. It was a huge crowd of African men, assembled as if they were in a large arena. And I saw myself preaching to them.

Nobody had ever asked me to minister in Africa, but I knew at that moment I needed to surrender my will. All I could think to say was the prayer of Isaiah: “Here am I. Send me.” (Is. 6:8). I told God I would go anywhere and say anything He asked. I laid my insecurities, fears and inhibitions on the altar.

Three years later I stood at a pulpit inside a sports arena in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. As I addressed a crowd of 8,000 pastors who had assembled there for a training conference, I remembered seeing their faces in that vision. And I realised that God had opened a new valve in my life that day when I was on the floor of my church. Because I had said yes, He had increased the flow of His oil so that it could reach thousands.

Many of us have a habit of asking for more of God’s power and anointing. But what do we use it for? He doesn’t send it just to make us feel good.

We love to go to the altar for a touch from God. We love the goose bumps, the shaking, the emotion of the moment. We love to fall on the floor and experience one filling after another. But I am afraid some of us are soaking up the anointing but not giving it away. Our charismatic experience has become inward and selfish. We get up off the floor and live like we want to.

Pentecost is not a party. If we truly want to be empowered, we must offer God an unqualified yes. We must crucify every no. We must become a conduit to reach others, not a reservoir with no outlet.

Search your own heart today and see if there are any closed valves in your pipeline. As you surrender them, the locked channels will open, and His oil will flow out to a world that craves to know He is real.

ARE WE LIVING IN THE LAST DAYS? HARVEST CRUSADE’S PASTOR GREG LAURIE, SAYS YES.

Interviewed on Christian Post by Samuel Smith: “You said not too long ago that we could be living in the last of days, what exactly did you mean by that and does that make events like SoCal Harvest even more crucial?” Greg  speaking to 32,000 at the SoCal Harvest Crusade, 8/26/2016, Angel Stadium in Anaheim, CA
greg-laurie

Laurie: I do believe that we are living in the last days. I know this has been said before but there are events happening in our world right now that, to me, are what we call signs of the times.

The Bible says there are things that we should look for that signal the last days and one of them of course is the scattering and regathering of the nation of Israel, which we all know happened in 1948 when Israel was declared a nation. But the Bible tells us, for instance, that there is going to be a cashless society. The Bible tells us that there is going to be global instability and excessive violence in the End Times. As we look around right now at the way the world is changing, we look at the change economically, we look at the emergence of radical terrorist groups like ISIS that are incomprehensibly barbaric in the things that they do to people.

I just read today in The Christian Post about how they were using a blowtorch to kill people that defected. I can’t remember a time that we heard anything this awful since the Nazis. Now, with social media, which they use quite adeptly, this horror and wickedness has spread and people are radicalised online. Who would have even thought of such a thing 25 years ago. Yet, here it is happening right now.

The Bible says that in the last days that it will be like labour pains. As a woman is ready to give birth, the labour pains get closer and closer together. That’s what I think we are seeing that says we are in, maybe now, the last hours because the events are getting closer together. Maybe 20 years ago, there would be an event every few months or so, maybe once a year. Now, it just seems like every week there are things happening that remind us that Bible prophecy is being fulfilled and Christ is coming. Having said that, I think that should produce in the Christians, an urgency to share their faith.

Look, I don’t know when the end of the world is, but there are people that I speak to every night, the end of their world could be tomorrow because we don’t know when life will end. So, I preach as a dying man to dying men.

How are we living our lives in these last days? Can I suggest you start living eternal now.

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY?

JESUS TELLS US WHAT IT WILL BE LIKE ON THE NEW EARTH

In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
John 14:2

The largest private home in the world is Istana Nurul Iman Palace, the official residence of the Sultan of Brunei, Hassanal Bolkiah. The home consists of more than 2 million square feet of space, 1,788 rooms, 257 bathrooms, 5 swimming pools, a 110-car garage, air-conditioned stables for 200 polo ponies, a banquet hall, and a mosque large enough for 1,500 worshippers. It cost around $1.4 billion to build in the mid-1980s.

Grand as it is, that mansion pales in significance to what Jesus is preparing for His followers. The home He is preparing is called the New Jerusalem in the book of Revelation 21:2—and it is large.

John sees it descending from the new heaven to the new earth. Shaped like a cube, it measures 1,500 miles in each of its three dimensions—length, width, and height (Revelation 21:16). It is built of precious stones and minerals, and its worth, in human dollars, would be incalculable. But more important than its worth in dollars is its worth in security and joy for all who dwell there for eternity.

When comparing man’s greatest with God’s greatest, there is no comparison. Make sure you have secured your reservation in the mansion Jesus is preparing.

The nearer to heaven in hopes, the farther from earth in desires. William Gurnall, from The Christian in Complete Armor

Chapter 8 – Discerning the Times

Jesus said, at His second coming it will be as in the days of Noah. The world will turn its back on God and His morality. If you need convincing that we are in the “last days”, the following posts from my website outline the extent of the moral and economic decline which is evident, particularly in the so called western nations.

I have already shown that the denominational church, which no longer believes God’s Word is inerrant, is in decline. It’s acceptance of evolution, abortion and now gay marriage, means Christians who hold to the truth of God’s Word, are being marginalized and coming under increased persecution as governments legislate to legalize gay marriage.

The acceptance of a history for the Universe in billions of years instead of thousands of years has convinced the world an imminent return of Jesus Christ is nonsense. Many Christians no longer have the zeal to evangelize, as did those like John Wesley, who believed the return of Jesus Christ was likely to occur at any moment.

A number of posts on my website, included in this chapter, show the rapid rise of Islam and terrorism which now adversely impacts most nations. Its possible relationship to ‘Revelation’ end time prophesies concerning the antichrist is explored.

As already mentioned, Israel’s (surrounded by hostile Muslim nations) very existence is proof God exists and the Bible is God’s Word.

Demonic activity is on the increase; it appears to be part of a climactic battle being waged over the future of mankind. Belief in extraterrestrial life (demonic deception) has effectively become a new religion for many. The young are bombarded with aliens in video games, films and other forms of entertainment. As Gary Bates reveals in his book Alien Intrusion[1] popular polls have suggested that up to 20 million Americans have seen an UFO and 4 million claim to have been abducted by aliens. Such ideas have become mainstream and children in particular are very susceptible and are openly targeted.

The Star Wars movies, created by George Lucas have prepared young people for Satan’s latest ploy. He stated, “I put the Force into the movie in order to awaken a certain kind of spirituality in young people… I think there is a God… What that God is or what we know about God, I’m not sure”. What spirituality has it brought forth? Britain’s Daily Telegraph reported in December, 2015 that the latest Star Wars movie “The Force Awakens” has led to a spike in people joining a sci-fi based religion known as Jedism. They reported that over 1,000 people a day were signing up, even before the movie’s release that month. Amazingly, this religion has gained serious traction. As far back as 2012, a UK census found that Jedism is the most popular faith in the ‘Other Religions’ category on the census. While adherents acknowledge that their religion is based on fiction, they claim to seriously follow the man made spiritual and moral teachings practiced by the characters in the movies. Moreover, they have asked the UK government for official government recognition as a religion.

In the last days, the Bible tells us in Romans 1:21-25, that although they knew God (or else why would they need to start their own religion to fill such voids in their lives) they did not acknowledge Him. It is their futile attempt to fill the God shaped void in the human heart.

“The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.” 1 Corinthians 2:14

Many seemingly credible scientists now believe that life on earth originated from outer space. This is no longer just science fiction – such an idea has been promoted by well-known scientists including Richard Dawkins, Paul Davies, and even DNA co-discoverer, Francis Crick. He suggested that our DNA may contain revelation from our alien creators. Is it any wonder that people, prompted by these same themes promoted in science fiction, would then look to stars for inspiration? They are unwilling to accept the truth that the God of the Bible is responsible for life’s design.

Most evangelical Christians would now agree that the desperate godless scenario now being played out in the world is prophesied in Scripture as “last days”. The world has turned its back on God and His morality. We should not be surprised, concerning the time of His return to earth, Jesus told His disciples “For as were the days of Noah, and Sodom & Gomorrah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man …” Matthew 24:38 and Luke 17:28

In the days of Noah, the world was so corrupt and evil, God sent a worldwide flood to destroy all mankind save Noah and his family (8 people). With Sodom & Gomorrah, all but Lot and his family (wife looked back and died) were destroyed. Sadly, the world does not believe these events ever happened (Wikipedia – Flood Myth).

God judged the world and nations in the past and He is judging nations today. What is He doing in your nation and what is He calling you to do in these perilous times? It is an exciting time to be a Christian, God is calling His children to battle. Are you listening to the Holy Spirit? Are you in the right place, the right church? Do you know what He is calling you to do?
