DANIELS – GOD’S IRRELEVANT IN VICTORIA

Slavery to atheistic dogma rife in Victoria

Religious liberty is all very well and all that, but it has its limits in Victoria’s state schools where principals are bound by Ministerial Direction 145.

The determination allows faith-based religious instruction at the principal’s discretion providing no child attends for more than 30 minutes a week, and then only in the lunch break or in the hour before or after school. Parents must complete form CD145 — available in 15 languages — to give consent.

Instructors must be referred to as instructors or special instructors, never as teachers. Teaching material cannot be described as “curriculum” and may only be referred to as “materials” or “program materials”.

The Safe Schools program is different. There is no parental red tape to navigate since Safe School classes are compulsory and will be conducted in every state school by next year.

In summary, parents must apply to have kids study the Biblical canon, but they don’t get asked if they’d like their kids to study OMG I’m Queer, OMG I’m Trans, Gayby Baby, or anything else included in the School Action Toolkit “that explores family diversity in a fun & insightful way”. Principals don’t ask parents, they consult an amorphous entity that the Department of Education calls “the broader school community”. OMG indeed.

For a glimpse of what a Bill Shorten prime ministership may entail, head to his home state of Victoria where Daniel Andrews’s track record reads like “a wish list for progressives”, according to one fan writing in the Huffington Post, an online journal for readers who find The Age too conservative.

“Australian-first program of medical cannabis? Check,” writes the fan. “A $572 million package for domestic violence, more money even than the federal government spends nationwide? Check. An Australia-first LGBTI ‘pride centre’ and specific gender-diverse health services? Check.”

The OMG list gets worse. “Directly defying Canberra and standing in opposition to cutting funding for LGBTI education program, the Safe Schools Coalition? Check. A huge increase to legal services for asylum-seekers? Check.”

As Paul Kelly reminded us on these pages last weekend, the Andrews government now wants to legalise what it delicately calls “voluntary assisted dying”. Putting poor old Grandpa out of his misery? Check.

Andrews is undoubtedly the most hardline, ideological, left-wing premier to assume office in this or any other state. As Liberal MP Bernie Finn said recently: “This bloke makes Joan Kirner look like a softie.”

A half-century ago Gough Whitlam flew to Melbourne to tell the state’s left faction they were behaving like a bunch of losers.

“We construct a philosophy of failure, which finds in defeat a form of justification and a proof of the purity of our principles,” he told them, raising his voice above the jeers and catcalls. “Certainly the impotent are pure.”

Whitlam was Labor’s first leader to hold a university degree, a handicap many assumed disqualified him from the job. Today the party is full of them, but sadly few have the learning of Whitlam, who graduated long before the education was dumbed down.

Today Whitlam would probably be scratching his head and wondering how it came to pass that a morally vain extremist such as Andrews, armed with the soft-headed philosophy of cultural inclusion, could ever have been elected in the first place, let alone be seen as a serious contender in the polls next year.

Andrews has achieved the seemingly impossible in reconciling the sensitivities of the sophisticates with the day-to-day anxieties of the masses.

He has an army of media minders to run a virtual newsroom, turning out dozens of asinine press releases weekly, whistling to both audiences.

On one hand they are steeped in symbolic concern about the vulnerable, pledged to give a voice to the voiceless, dedicated to restoring fairness and promise to make Victoria a safe place.

On the other hand they boast of jobs precincts, better kindergartens, new school buildings, level-crossing and road improvements, addressing the practical concerns in the regions and outer suburbs.

Meanwhile his government panders to activism by handing out thousands of grants, large and small, to community organisers of every stripe. It pays for the Australian GLBTIQ Multicultural Council’s Multicultural Dinner, hands over a lazy half-mill to LGBTI support groups to counsel LGBTI Victorians disturbed by a plebiscite, and chucks money at the Feminist Writers Festival in recognition of its “important role in challenging sexism and gender stereotypes, and fostering cultural change”.

It embarks on “a creative new approach to reduce homophobia” by subsidising the development of “an engaging digital app that will give players of all ages insights into the experiences of LGBTI people and the prejudices and discrimination they can face”.

The government funds Literacy Leader Induction Workshops to provide every government primary school with “a trained literacy leader”. Just one, apparently, but it’s a start.

And so in countless feel-good ways, announced in countless fawning press releases, the Andrews government funds a growing bullshit industry, employing countless professional do-gooders in meaningless bullshit jobs.

When Andrews boasts of the jobs he has created, he neglects to mention that the taxpayer is paying for most of them. The growth in education, health, welfare and much heavy construction is funded by the state. But when your only work experience is in politics, that probably doesn’t matter.

At best the bullshit industry is merely ineffective, but we suspect the moral harm is worse. The application of identity politics, the constant affirmation of diversity and the pleas on behalf of the vulnerable feed a culture of complaint and entitlement. It erodes the personal virtues of prudence, fortitude and courage by outsourcing responsibility for individual destiny to the machinery of state.

It is customary for outgoing Labour governments to leave a fiscal deficit on the doormat. The moral deficit Andrews is likely to leave behind will be altogether harder to clean up.

PROPHESIED END TIMES EVENTS – INCREASE IN NATURAL DISASTERS

Apocalyptic September? Here Is A List Of 27 Major Disasters That Have Already Happened So Far This Month.

The Bible does talk about an increase of natural disasters in the “last days”. Jesus also warns us many times in the Olivet Discourse to be watchful for the signs He gives us preparatory to His second coming. Apostasy in the church is an important one and so evident in the church today as it caves in to gay marriage and homosexual pastors.

We know the Pharisees and the Sadducees missed His first coming despite the warning of 300 odd Bible prophecies. When we read Isaiah 53 and Psalm 22, we wonder how the Jews still don’t recognise their Messiah but as there is a growing number of Messianic Jews, obviously some do. Despite there being many more prophecies of Jesus second coming than His first, will church leaders be like the Pharisees and Sadducees and miss it, thereby not being in a position to warn their parishioners?

Jesus seminal teaching on the state of the church at His second coming is the parable of the Ten Virgins.

  • This parable is about ten virgins (CHURCHGOERS) who keep themselves pure as they await the return of the bridegroom (JESUS).
  • Five of the virgins are described as wise and five foolish.
  • While the bridegroom was delaying, they ALL got drowsy and fell asleep.
  • At a trumpet blast all awoke but half did not have oil (HOLY SPIRIT) for their lamps and did not go into the wedding feast. In fact, when they returned Jesus said, “depart from Me, I don’t know you”.

In the parable of the Ten Virgins, we see that Jesus tells us that all the church is asleep as they wait for His return. Jesus did not say those who hold the correct Rapture theory are awake and the rest are asleep, He is saying the church as a whole is asleep. Soberly, this parable also reveals that half of the church are seekers but not saved. It also suggests we have a mission field in our churches, but the half that are saved are asleep, so not able to help the seekers in their churches.

The timing of the Rapture question is not an academic one. THE ETERNAL DESTINY OF MILLIONS OF CHURCHGOERS IS AT STAKE IN THE ANSWER. Jesus’s parables are usually about contrasts between the righteous and the wicked, but in this parable both groups fall asleep waiting for the return of the bridegroom! Both the foolish and the wise are probably sleeping right now, meaning that most of us are slumbering in regard to the return of our Lord. That is a humbling statement. What is the state of your church on this critical issue?

In my lifetime we have never had this number of natural disasters in one month. Moreover they are occurring like “birth pangs” with ever increasing frequency and magnitude.

REBUILDING THE THIRD TEMPLE IS BEGINNING

When asked about His Second Coming, Jesus told His disciples that one of the signs would be “when you see the ‘abomination of desolation’ spoken by Daniel the prophet , standing in the holy place” Matthew 24:15. This means that a Third Temple would need to be rebuilt for this event to occur.

The information revealed in this video about the site of the old temple and preparations to reintroduce temple sacrifices indicate we are seeing “end times’ events unfold in our time.

Jesus also warns us in the Olivet discourse that the church would be asleep and a great falling away would occur in the “last days”. Numerous times Jesus warns us, to be ALERT, to WATCH; “See, I have told you beforehand.” Matthew 24:25

SERIES OF POWERFUL EARTHQUAKES ROCKS THE WORLD WITHIN 14 HOURS

The world has shaken violently within the last 14 hours between July 17th and July 18th. Are these signs of Christ’s second coming?

A series of powerful quakes rocked Russia (M7.7, M6.2) and Peru (M6.4).

It all started on July 17, 2017 as a M6.2 earthquake hit 183km ESE of Nikol’skoye, Russia at 11:05 am (UTC). This earthquake marked the beginning of an earthquake swarm comprising at least 15 quakes between M4.4 and M7.7 in the region. Then, a bit more than 12 hours later, 11:30 pm, a M7.7 earthquake hit the same area of Russia – 198km ESE of Nikol’skoye, Russia. The earthquake was very shallow – only 10 km below the seabed. The US Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre initially warned hazardous tsunami waves were possible for coasts within 300 km of epicentre. The tsunami threat had now passed. Finally, two hours later, a M6.4 earthquake hit 98km WNW of Camana, Peru.

The following map shows where the largest twenty earthquakes occurred in the last twenty four hours.

List and maps of the 20 largest earthquakes during the past 24 hours

On this website I have many posts on Bible prophecies relating to Jesus second coming that are being fulfilled in our day. Another “last days” prophecy in Matthew 24:7, repeated in Mark 13:8 and Luke 21:11, Jesus states there will be an increase in earthquakes in various places. Are the earthquakes occurring now more compelling evidence that we are in the “last days”?

WHAT WILL THE CHURCH LOOK LIKE IN THE LAST DAYS?

Considering the following Hillsong video, what does it say about the state of the church in these last days, surely this video demonstrates we are witnessing the precursor to the prophesied great falling away in the church as persecution increases.

In this video “Vigilant Christian” gives a warning of a very possible Trojan horse deception! (wolf in sheep’s clothing). The warning is about Hillsong because of their starry night Christmas special! The performance was done Hollywood style, worldly, sensual and of the flesh! Please pray for God to give you discernment on this issue! God Bless, STAY VIGILANT & FEAR NO EVIL !!!

TURKEY INVESTS MILLIONS TO RETURN MUSLIM CONTROL OVER JERUSALEM

Is Turkey hoping for a return of the Ottoman Empire to Jerusalem?

It would fit with Bible prophecy of a revived Ottoman Empire in the “last days”. In Daniel 11:40, the Antichrist, as the last days Antiochus IV Epiphanes, is also referred to as the King of the North who will rule over a last-days version of the Seleucid Empire (revived Ottoman Empire). In verse 41, we are then told he invades the Glorious Land – Israel.

World events are consistent with a Muslim Antichrist – the Mahdi, the prophesied redeemer of Islam who will rule prior to the Day of Judgement

Turkey invests millions to return Muslim control over Jerusalem

Turkey is reportedly positioning itself as a Muslim power in Jerusalem by investing millions of dollars in the Old City and the Temple Mount.

According to an investigative report, due to be published in full in the coming weekend edition of Israel Hayom, the Turkish government-funded Cooperation and Coordination Agency, also known as TIKA, has invested millions of dollars into 63 different projects “defending and strengthening the Muslim heritage and character of Jerusalem” since 2004.

Turkey has teamed up with Sheikh Raed Salah, the leader of the Northern Branch of the Islamic Movement in Israel, which was outlawed in November 2015, as well as with former Jerusalem mufti Sheikh Akram Sabri.  Both are opposed to Israel’s existence.

Among other activities, TIKA has invested resources in restoring the Ottoman Muslim archives on the Temple Mount, renovated the Muslim cemetery adjacent to the eastern wall of the Temple Mount, and been involved in numerous community-related work throughout the eastern sections of Israel’s capital.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has consistently supported TIKA’s work and condemned Israel’s control of Jerusalem, which he labels “an insult.”

Last month, in a speech at the International Al-Quds Forum in Istanbul, Erdogan urged Muslims to make frequent visits to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, located on the Temple Mount, in order “to protect the Muslim identity” of the site, the Turkish daily Sabah reported.

“As a Muslim community, we need to visit the Al-Aqsa Mosque often; each day that Jerusalem is under occupation is an insult to us,” he was quoted as saying.

While Turkey is enhancing its position in Jerusalem, the influence of Jordan, the traditional custodian of Jerusalem’s Muslim sites, appears to be declining.

Visitors to Jerusalem’s Old City can easily notice the increased Turkish presence through the numerous Turkish national flags on display. In addition, Turkish culture and cuisine are becoming more popular in the area. Turkey’s government also covered some of the expenses for the new golden crescent atop the Dome of the Rock a few years ago.

PERSECUTION GROWING THE CHURCH, SAYS FOUNDER OF YWAM

Founder of YWAM, Loren Cunningham sees persecution of Christians increasing across the world but the good news is, he says, “wherever we see persecution, God uses it to grow His church. We are seeing it in the Middle East, where more Christians are being born again now, than the last thousand years. The same is true in China and now India”.
He makes it clear that he believes we are in the “end times” as he talks about other “end times” signs such as natural disasters on the increase, wars and rumours of wars, all happening in our time.
