The US educational system has replaced the teaching of American history with anti-American propaganda, a trend in the universities that has trickled down into high schools and elementary schools. Some schools ignore history and civics altogether, leaving students ignorant of their Christian heritage and thus susceptible to the propagandists. In addition, the teaching of evolution and not creation/intelligent design has resulted in this generation turning away from God and His values. He is no longer relevant. However, Satan’s original deception of Eve is still relevant :
“Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” Genesis 3:4-5
The first statement was certainly a lie and the second equally disastrous; believing she can be like God.
The VOC poll (Voice of the Customer Survey). . . found that only 57 percent of millennial’s believe the Declaration of Independence “better guarantees freedom and equality” than the Communist Manifesto. . . .
It is the reason Bernie Sanders with his socialist agenda is so popular with this generation.
Executive editor of the Federalist (and LCMS member) Joy Pullman suggests that as this generation that loved their country through World War II and the Baby Boomers who lived through the Cold War die out, the proportion of Americans who disapprove of their own country and what it stands for will increase. At some point, the nation might become so delegitimatised in the eyes of its citizens that it dissolves. This is what happened to the Soviet Union. A new nation would be established in its place, with the Constitution being repealed and a different kind of government devised to replace it. Since free, democratic republics are rare in human history, the new American order would probably be a reversion to some kind of authoritarianism or totalitarianism.
For Christians Jesus end times prophecies are beginning to unfold:
“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved.” Matthew 24:9-13
I don’t often recommend books but this one is a must read for those interested in knowing what the Bible says about the end times. It will be a particularly valuable read for those that have been disappointed by end times authors that have proven to be misleading, if not totally wrong. Travis Snow covers a lot of ground in his book which will give you a solid eschatological foundation and encourage you to personally delve further yourself into the Scriptures, which is always profitable.

The 21 day period following this ending takes us to February 10th. What happened in the last 21 days?
During this 21 day period of time, Trumps’ impeachment, trial, and acquittal were accomplished. He delivered his State of the Union address and finished what Bill Maher and other dismayed critics called “his best week yet.”
At the State of the Union, we all watched Nancy Pelosi, standing behind President Trump, tear up the President’s speech. It was a manifestation of the spirit of rebellion and witchcraft that has infested the left like a virus.
Dr. Lance Walnau senses something else at work. “That veil of witchcraft is beginning to tear off of the United States. A further unmasking is coming when Durham and Barr expose what they have found. Rudy Giuliani has been treated like a laughing stock, but his data is now being given review by the Senate. All this is the unfolding of a lot of prayer.”
Back to Daniel’s 21-day prayer battle––this is what he was praying about. The restoration of his nation and the struggles of the movement to overcome political intrigues. When the Jewish remnant answered the decree of Cyrus and returned to Jerusalem, they met strong, deeply rooted (deep state) resistance. The Lord brought forth the Prophets Haggai and Zechariah to speak a divine prophetic word to the leaders – Zerubbabel, the Governor, and Joshua, the High Priest. The governor and the priest needed to line up. Again, God raised up two prophetic voices (two is the number of agreement) to stir the remnant up and challenge them to work together and not give up! God was with them!
Lance Walnau sees the number of believers right now hearing the call to government as a sign of what God is doing in the USA. Many are running for Congress in 2020.
He also says, “the church must find a new balance between revival and reformation. It is not either/or, it is both. If we fail to do the difficult work of reformation that is upon us, the church will watch the radical left shut down freedom of speech. God is letting us choose. Heaven’s plan is to give us an extension of mercy and a time of reformation.”
The Super Bowl Halftime Show during the NFL game last night may have been the most blasphemous production ever put on by a major world organisation. As the show was riddled with sex — and references to sex — it is clear that Americans have exchanged the true God for a god of lust. And, perhaps, Jennifer Lopez presented herself as the face of this idolatry in last night’s halftime show.
During the performance, it appears she is raised up on what looks like a pose on the cross of Jesus while the surrounding people fall down on their faces in simulated worship.
Anyone who thinks this wasn’t by design is foolish.
What’s sad is that so many Christians sat around and cheered and indulged in this blasphemy as it took place — many with their children. Further evidence if you needed it, that we are in the “last days” before Jesus return to rule and reign with a rod of iron (Revelation 2:27).
Billions of locusts are eating everything in sight in East Africa right now, and every single day many more farms are being completely wiped out. Unfortunately, authorities are telling us that what we have seen so far is just the tip of the iceberg. In fact, if extreme measures are not implemented immediately, authorities are claiming that this locust plague could literally get “500 times” worse in a few months. But it is difficult to imagine conditions getting any worse than they are at this moment. Ravenous locust swarms that are “the size of cities” are consuming crops at a staggering pace, and this could potentially cause famine on the African continent that is unlike anything we have ever seen before.
Dense clouds of insects, each of which consumes its own weight in food every day, have spread from Ethiopia and Somalia into Kenya, region’s worse infestation in decades.
It can be difficult to imagine a plague of “billions” of locusts. After all, there are only about 7 billion people living on the entire planet.
But this is actually happening. Right now “billions of locusts” are absolutely devastating East Africa. Jesus spoke of famines and pestilences (corona virus) in the last days before His return. These along with all of the other Middle East “end times” events should alert the church to the urgency of the hour and the coming escalating tribulation.
Jesus said, in the last days before His return: “and there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.” Matthew 24:7b

The deadly new strain of coronavirus is mutating into a more virulent disease that can be transmitted through airborne droplets from coughing or sneezing, Chinese scientists warned, as the death toll nearly doubled to nine in just 24 hours and the number of confirmed cases across the country climbed to 440.
It has since spread to South Korea, Japan and Thailand, with the US, Macau and Taiwan also reporting their first confirmed cases on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Four cases of the deadly coronavirus have been confirmed in Australia, as authorities scramble to contact passengers who shared flights from China with the patients. Three men tested positive to the respiratory condition in NSW on Saturday, Jan 25th, state health authorities confirmed.
Chinese officials are scrambling to enforce containment measures, just days before hundreds of millions of people travel across the country and abroad for the Chinese New Year holiday.
Strict prevention and control measures are in force, granting authorities sweeping powers to lock down affected areas and quarantine patients — as occurred during the 2009 H1N1 (swine flu) outbreak.

“Rest assured we will level to the ground Haifa and Israeli centres so that Israel will be wiped out,” he said. “The issue is very serious for the Iranian nation. You hit us and you should get hit. You attacked us and it is the Iranian nation’s right.
Soleimani’s killing has escalated the crisis between Tehran and Washington after months of back-and-forth attacks and threats that have put the wider Middle East on edge.
For the first time ever, a blood-red flag is being flown over the famous Jamkaran Mosque in the Iranian “holy city” of Qom. The fact that this mosque is directly associated with the Mahdi makes this symbolic gesture doubly significant. Red flags in Shiite tradition symbolise both blood spilled unjustly and serve as a call to avenge a person who is slain. It is the first time in history that the red flag has been hoisted on top of the Jamkaran mosque in the Iranian city and comes after warnings of harsh retaliation against the US. Red flags have also been spotted flying at anti-U.S. demonstrations in Tehran over the past few days. Clearly, the Iranians want blood. They will never, ever forgive the killing of Qassem Soleimani, and their faith requires that he be avenged.
Rabbi Pinchas Winston, a prolific end-of-times author, commented, “All the conditions exist for a no-holds-barred multinational conflict in the Middle East, precisely the type of conflict described by the prophets as preceding the Messiah,” Rabbi Winston said. “You can be sure that Iran is sharpening their swords right now. For peace to exist, both sides have to be afraid of war. You don’t have that here. Iran wants a war to bring a great fiery war to bring Mahdi and to get rid of the ‘Great Satan.’”

When you grasp that the final Empire in Revelation prior to Jesus return is a revived Ottoman Empire and that a “good fit” candidate for the Antichrist is the Mahdi, the soon expected Messiah of Islam, then identifying the final Babylon of Revelation is as simple as identifying the spiritual and financial capital of the Islamic world. The Scriptures reveal that Babylon is the capital of the seventh and eighth beast empires, which arguably is a reference to the Islamic empire, the only Middle Eastern Empire to have “crushed all the nations it conquered” and to have followed the Roman Empire.
The Bible indicates that the harlot city is a port city, or at least close to the sea. Mecca sits fifty miles inland from Jeddah and the emerging King Abdullah Economic City, NEOM (New Future) which are both presently being built specifically to become the world’s most technologically advanced and active seaports. The three cities form a triangle and will be linked by a fast train service.
NEOM Saudi Arabia’s $500 billion Mega City
The last-days harlot Babylon is a very real and identifiable geopolitical entity. So are both the city of Mecca and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
A Desert City: The harlot city sits specifically in a desert. Mecca/Saudi Arabia obviously match this description perfectly.
Babylon “the great” is called “the mother of harlots and … abominations” (Rev. 17:5). She is the greatest source of false religion and idolatry ever known. Because Islam is the world’s second-largest religion, with 1.61 billion Muslims, the city of Mecca is absolutely the unqualified greatest city of idolatry that has ever existed.
The harlot brags, “I sit as queen” (Rev. 18:7). This is a direct allusion to Isaiah 47, which reflects the attitude of the last-days Babylon, who in her wickedness also says, “No one sees me” (Isa. 47:10). The picture is of a city governed by both arrogance and secrecy. Despite all of her abundant sins, she somehow manages to fly under the radar of most. This describes Saudi Arabia nearly perfectly. Even as the Saudi royals have bought nearly every major American politician, they now also control various media outlets in the USA and other countries, even Iran International (a 24 hour channel), which broadcasts via satellite to the Middle East, Europe and the USA and can be viewed in Iran. Thus the Saudis have corrupted the most powerful nation in the world, and then they have bought that nation’s silence.
The harlot is “clothed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls” (Rev. 17:4). These colours and adornments speak of the woman as royalty. Saudi Arabia is not a nation in the traditional sense; rather, it is a kingdom. The House of Saud.
The Scriptures state that the Harlot is “drunk with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the witnesses of Jesus…. In her was found the blood of prophets … and of all who have been slain on the earth” (Rev. 17:6; 18:24).
Saudi Arabia is not only the single greatest financier of the Palestinian Intifada, and the greatest lobbying power at the UN against the State of Israel, but it is also the primary ideological and financial fountainhead of nearly every radical Islamist jihadi organisation in the world. ISIS, al-Qaeda, Boko Haram, and other jihadist groups that murder Christians,
The last-days Babylon is an importer of “slaves and human lives” (Rev. 18:13). Literally one-third of the entire population of Saudi Arabia are foreign workers, many of whom are treated worse than slaves. Secular human rights groups report endless stories of poor treatment, abuse, imprisonment, and rape that affect the roughly nine million foreign workers living in Saudi Arabia.
Both “merchants” and “ship-masters” have “become rich through the abundance of her luxury” (Rev. 18:3, 9). All of this material wealth is directly responsible for the kings of the earth joining in with her spiritual corruption and bloodshed (17:2; 18:3). Needless to say, Saudi Arabia has not only corrupted the “kings of the earth,” but she has also seduced innumerable banks, corporations, “great men of the earth” and, in fact, “all the nations” (Rev. 18:23).
The last-days harlot is a city of extreme luxury and material excess (Rev. 17:4; 18:7). Saudi Arabia, unlike any other nation on earth, is specifically known for its absolutely excessive materialism and luxury.
That the harlot “reigns over the kings of the earth” (Rev. 17:18) and that they in turn “commit acts of immorality with her” (Rev. 18:3) makes it clear that the influence of this city is indeed global. Saudi Arabia exerts its influence over much of the world either through Islam or through outright bribery and oil blackmail. For the past few generations, no corporation, nation, or bank in the world has given a fraction of the money that the Saudi royal family has given to the past several American presidents.
The last-days Babylon is specifically a missionary-sending force, spreading her false religion all over the world and holding sway over “kings, … peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues” (Rev. 17:2, 15).
Over the past forty years, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has spent well over $100 billion to spread Islam all over the world. No religious, political, or national evangelistic or propaganda campaign in human history has ever come close to equalling this.
Today, December 16th, the NJ legislature is voting for mandatory vaccines without parental consent (including flu vaccines!) for students of all schools, even for college students, eliminating the religious right of exemption from the current law. They will also break federal law.
Our God-given rights as parents are vanishing quickly in the eyes of lawmakers in New Jersey. It is part and parcel of a sign of wicked things coming quickly and further evidence we are in the biblical prophesied “end times”
It will not stop there, as totalitarians will not stop until they have complete control of your lives and behaviour. They have plans to link up the Real Drivers License that you will be required to have with all of your information (medical, etc). And you will not be able to function normally in society without it (sound familiar?) For example, you will not be able to fly on an aeroplane if you are not “up to date on your vaccines,” etc, etc. It’s all a tip of the iceberg of what is happening quickly nationally and globally.
Scripture tells us of three great judgements. First, the flood in the days of Noah. What happened? All the world’s population, except Noah and family, had the wrong agenda. Even though there was the sign of a 20,000 tons displacement boat built on dry land and Noah preaching for over 100 years, the population stuck to its wrong agenda – ‘their every thought was only evil continually.’ All but 8 people perished.

The second mighty judgement affects us all. It was the judgement of our sin which was put onto Jesus our Saviour. When Jesus came He was rejected by His own. Why? Because the leaders of Israel at the time had the wrong agenda. Did they know Jesus was the Messiah? – they knew that He performed miracles only the Messiah could do – healing leprosy and casting out demons, raising the dead. Also, the timing of the coming of Jesus as Messiah was well known – it was precisely specified in the prophecy of 70 weeks in the book of Daniel. The Magi, as the spiritual descendants of Daniel, knew full well – and they were watching. They recognised the sign. Regrettably, the religious leaders of Israel, at the time, had their own agenda – it did not include a Messiah that would upset their leadership and their religious rituals.
What about thethird judgement that is prophesied in Scripture at His second coming. There are more prophecies about Jesus second coming than His first.
Are we so fixed on our well being, our business, even ministry that we have lost sight of Jesus’s specific instruction to watch for His return? Are we so concerned with our own agenda, that we have lost sight of the Messiah Himself and His imminent return. Are we in a church that trusts in the inerrant word of God, recognises that we are in the “end times”, and is challenging the church to complete the Great Commission and prepare for the coming tribulation? Jesus said: ‘Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.’Revelation 3:3. The counter to that is that if you will watch, then you will know – ‘But you brethren are not in darkness so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.’ 1 Thessalonian 5: 4
Are our priorities right? Jesus first and foremost above everything? Are we in a church that understands the times (Bereans), looking forward to His return? Or are our plans, our desires, like the famous singer, Frank Sinatra – ‘I did it my way’ – I had or have my own agenda!
The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come Lord Jesus.’ This is the right, the best, the pre-eminent agenda for today!
